Living Life Counselling is a voluntary organisation providing counselling services for people on low incomes. Founded in 1996 we operate centres in Bray and Arklow. We deliver a vital social service which helps people cope with difficult life issues such as bereavement, stress, depression, separation, suicide and addiction.

Living Life Counselling now has an opening for the key role of Chief Executive Officer.

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will lead the charity in the next stage of its development as a vibrant and progressive voluntary organisation. The successful candidate will have: experience working at board level; a proven track record in leading teams with an ability to deliver results as well as skills and knowledge relating to best practice in the delivery of therapeutic counselling services.

The deadline for receipt of applications is 25 May 2012.

A Day of Reflection and Remembrance.

On Tuesday 3rd April 2012 we held a day of Reflection and Remembrance in our garden.

There was a short service, Remembering the deceased and the sick.

It was followed by the attaching of Ribbons to our Remembrance Tree,

which can be seen in the accompanying photo.

Flora Woman’s Mini Marathon

On Bank Holiday Monday Living Living Counselling will take part in the Woman’s Mini Marathon. Suicide Awareness Fund-Raising Gig

On Friday 2nd March there is a Suicide Awareness Gig in the Royal Hotel, Bray. We are receiving half the proceeds from the gig, so please mention to family and friends. If they cannot make it on the night and would like to donate the price of a ticket to Living Life Counselling, they can by going to our website and click on the PayPal button or send it to Living Life Counselling. Tickets are €10.00 each and are available at reception or from Shane Rowan at 086 244 7487.
